MUNEHIRO’s Tsumugi-silk Kimono exhibition in Gallery OKARIYA counts its
third time this year. （

She says YOSHINO-KOSHI, a kind of checkered pattern with intricate weaving
methods to create 3 dimensional textile, has been her focus for the past
few years. Several OBI-belts with the pattern create elegant atmosphere in
the room.
Another look-out point in her Kimono work is the use of Tensan-Silk, the
wild silk from Azumino, Nagano. Its unique luster seems to attract many
fans.
There are also an exhibition of Koto-musical instruments, along with small
items made of rare wood such as ebony wood or red sandalwood to please
one’s eyes.
The exhibition is until the 30th, Monday.
